Small Space Sectionals for Dorm Rooms

Dorm room furnishings are often lacking and generally consist of a twin-size bed and perhaps a small closet and desk. This minimal décor does not do much for making a dorm room feel like home and even less for making it a comfortable space in which to spend a semester, or your entire college career. Depending on the size of your room and the type of accommodations you choose, there is often enough space to bring in some of your own furnishings; however, this space is generally rather limited, which leads most students to believe their furniture options are limited as well.

Fortunately, this is entirely untrue. Small space sectional sofas that are specifically designed to offer comfortable, abundant seating in small spaces are an ideal option for dorm rooms and other shared housing situations. Sectionals for small spaces provide plenty of seating for study groups, social gatherings or family visits, as well as an impromptu extra bed for friends crashing at your place for the night. When you opt for small space sectionals that come ready to assemble with your choice of fabrics, you get the added benefits of being able to easily transport your sectional sofa to your accommodation and choosing colors that will brighten up a dreary dorm room.

With a stylish, comfortable small space sectional sofa, you can have your dorm room feeling like home in no time at all and will enjoy the benefits of full-size furniture without the hassle of carrying a pre-assembled sofa up several flights of stairs or hiring a moving van to get it on campus. And, when it is time to move to off-campus housing, back to your parents’ house or to a new city after graduation, you can easily take your small space sectional sofa apart for convenient transport to your new digs.

How should I decorate my tall, but small bedroom?

I love my bedroom. It’s got a nice window that lets in a lot of light. The room is very tall. The closet creates its own shelf. Only problem is, it’s small and I have a big short bed. The walls are white, and I don’t want to paint because I’m renting a student apartment. The carpet is beige. I have a Full Size bed, a really tall and square TV stand (about 5 feet tall), a little computer desk that’s barely a desk, and I might bring in a small but short dresser. My furniture worked well in my old bedroom, but I couldn’t buy new furniture for this one. How can I make the room work. I am thinking about getting bedrisers if they are fairly inexpensive. I have a lot of Wall decor (most posters, and picture frames) so how should I organize it to make my room feel more welcoming? My colors are green and purple if it helps at all. Any help is appreciated, but please keep in mind that I’m a college student on a pretty tight budget.

go with your theme.green and purple .they say you should hang pictures in three’s and no more than that it would be clutter so hang three pictures on each wall.try to get comforter and rug to match and curtains either purple or green.you can’t do nothing about the walls i would say paint but you can’t.if you can i would paint a nice green color.
